Preparation Course - Housing

The International University Club Munich (IUCM) will offer accommodation for the participants in student residential halls of the "Studentenwerk München". The anticipated cost for a single-bed student room will amount to € 370,00.

Accommodation is only available for March. For April or longer please contact: Studentenaustausch@Verwaltung.Uni-Muenchen.DE

Arrival:  March 4, 03:00 p.m.
Departure: March 31, 10:00 a.m

Student Housing

The student housing facilities are all located close to bus or subway stations with a good connection to the university, which is located near Munich’s downtown area.

Each student is accommodated in their own private room. Some of these are in shared apartments and some are self-contained single apartments. Accommodation is allocated according to availability. It is not possible to select a preference. (except the students who send us special requirements together with their application)

Almost every room is equipped with a small kitchen where one can prepare meals.  If it is not located in the room, there will be a community kitchen on each floor.

You will be provided with sheets and blankets, which can be washed at one of the laundry rooms in the building. Towels and kitchen utensils (cutlery, cups, plate and pots) will not be provided.

Metro, Bus, Tram

It is strongly recommended that a monthly ticket (ISARCARD) is purchased upon arrival in Munich. For further information and prices, please consult MVV. 

Board

During your stay, you will be responsible for providing your own meals.  Lunch can, however, be purchased at the one of the university’s cafeterias for € 3-5.
